Fáilte go Meanscoil Gharman, a vibrant and dynamic Irish-medium school where all subjects are taught through the Irish language. We are committed to promoting the Irish language and preserving its cultural heritage through our curriculum and activities.

At Meanscoil Gharman, our students have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the Irish language and develop a deep appreciation for its rich cultural heritage. Our curriculum is designed to promote bilingualism and ensure that our students are proficient in both Irish and English. We believe that bilingualism has many benefits, including improved cognitive function and better communication skills. However, we are strict about speaking only Irish during the school day.

Our teachers are all fluent Irish speakers and are passionate about promoting the language and culture. They create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing their Irish skills and asking questions.

In addition to our language curriculum, we also offer a range of cultural programs that celebrate Irish culture and heritage. Our students have the opportunity to participate in traditional Irish music and dance, as well as other cultural activities.

As an Irish-medium school, we are committed to preserving and promoting the Irish language and culture. We believe that learning through Irish not only promotes language proficiency but also fosters a sense of community and cultural identity.

Whether you’re a parent, student, or member of the community, we invite you to come and experience the unique culture and language of Meanscoil Gharman. We’re excited to share our passion for Irish language and culture with you!
