Digital Literacy

Digital literacy is very important in Meánscoil Gharman. Pupils in Meánscoil Gharman make use of many resources online, on the ipad or on a computer. Therefore, there are many opportunities to improve digital skills throughout the year.

As part of the curriculum students learn how to do basic coding and greatly enhance their STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, & Mathematics) skills.

National Council for Special Education. This guide is intended to provide information to support a successful transition for students with special educational needs, for their parents and for the schools where they are enrolled. We hope this will help alleviate the anxiety that some students and parents can experience at this time as well as providing examples of good practice.
